5 to 7 business daysYour oil painting is only started once you order it, and one of the collective's senior artists paints it by hand in Binh Thanh, Ho Chi Minh City.
The archival canvas print shows the same image, printed rather than painted, so its surface is flat. Both versions come rolled, on a wooden stretcher, or framed.

The painting stays close to the bridge. Lattice towers of rust-brown steel rise above a rust-orange panelled side, and the metal runs from deep brown to orange where the light catches it. Sandy-toned piers sit beneath the steel, and a banana plant spreads its broad leaves below.
Green tree branches hang in over the bridge, and beyond them a pale river and a soft cream sky open out. The brushstrokes are loose and visible, so the steel reads as worn rather than polished.
The palette is mostly rust brown, leaf green and pale cream, with the green set against the warm metal. The mood is calm and a little nostalgic, the sky is soft and nothing in the scene feels hurried.
The rust brown suits a wall painted in warm white, cream or soft grey. In a reading corner or a sitting room, the leaf green can pick up a plant or a cushion nearby. The upright format follows the height of the towers.
The lattice towers and the girders are drawn with clear crossing beams, but they are built from loose brushstrokes rather than sharp lines. Up close you see patches of orange and brown that give the metal a worn look.
No. Banana leaves and tree branches frame the steel and fill the corners, while the towers and girders stay in plain view. The green gives a cool contrast to the rust.
It is a wide, pale stretch of water beyond the bridge, with a green bank along it. It stays soft and close in tone to the cream sky, so the rust brown steel keeps the attention.
