The archival canvas print shows the same image, printed rather than painted, so its surface is flat. Both versions come rolled, on a wooden stretcher, or framed.

The painting shows Truong Tien Bridge as a long iron truss with high arches, running from the right edge toward the left distance. Small lamps hang along its rail and glow orange against the dark metal. Two thick stone piers stand in the water beneath it.
On the river, covered boats carry red lanterns, and a boatman in a conical hat poles one of them in the lower centre. A white and red river boat passes under the span. On the left bank a large tree and tiled houses stand, and pagoda roofs rise behind them.
At lower right, a woman with a basket, another woman in a cream top, a seated man in a pale hat and two figures near the water gather beside a small shop with a red lantern.
The sky is built from heavy strokes of amber, rust and dusk blue, with a pale sun low behind the clouds. The same gold runs down into the river as broken, horizontal ripples that carry the lamp and lantern lights.
Dark browns hold the bridge, piers and bank, so the small orange lights stand out. The surface looks thick and textured, with visible brush marks in the clouds and water.
The bridge arches sweep across the upper right while the boats and figures fill the lower half, so the eye moves from the bank, across the water, to the lamps. The square format keeps that balance even.
Its browns, ambers and deep blue suit walls in cream, sand or soft grey, and rooms lit by lamps in the evening, where the painted lanterns can echo the real light.
The covered boats show glowing red lanterns at their fronts and under their roofs. A boatman in a conical hat poles one boat in the lower centre, and a white and red river boat passes beneath the bridge.
Anonymous figures gather by a small shop with a red lantern: a woman holding a basket, a woman in a cream top, a seated man in a pale hat, and two figures near the water's edge.
A low pale sun sits in amber and blue clouds. Its gold falls into the river as broken ripples, and small orange lamps along the bridge rail and on the boats add warm points against dark brown.
Yes. The dark browns and deep blue give strong contrast on cream, sand or soft grey, and the amber tones keep the square canvas warm in evening light.
