The archival canvas print shows the same image, printed rather than painted, so its surface is flat. Both versions come rolled, on a wooden stretcher, or framed.

The wall fills the whole picture in mustard yellow, with patches where the plaster has rubbed thin and a bit of brick shows through. Teal wooden shutters, their paint chipped and faded, frame a tall window above and an arched window below, whose shutters are open onto a dark room.
A small tiled roof shades the arched window. Brushstrokes are loose and visible, so the wall reads as sun-warmed and old rather than neat.
Branches of magenta pink flowers with green leaves hang down from the top of the picture and throw dappled shadows across the yellow wall. The pink is the brightest note against the calmer teal and mustard, and it pulls the eye down along the branches to the window.
The mustard yellow and teal suit a white or soft cream wall, where the shutters can stand out and the pink blossoms add colour. It works well in a dining room or hallway that needs warmth. Its tall, narrow shape sits comfortably in a slim gap beside a door or between two frames.
No. The teal varies from deeper blue green to paler, faded patches, and some shutters show worn spots where the paint has chipped, so they look old and used.
The room behind it is dark, with only a hint of glass panes and a lighter shape in the far part of the window. This dark opening gives the bright wall a strong contrast.
They hang across the upper part of the picture and drop in a loose cascade, leaving most of the yellow wall and both windows clearly visible below.
It is worn. Brushstrokes are loose, with darker stained patches and a bit of exposed brick near the upper window, which gives the wall a lived-in look.
