The archival canvas print shows the same image, printed rather than painted, so its surface is flat. Both versions come rolled, on a wooden stretcher, or framed.

The tower is the whole subject: a tall tiered body in terracotta brown, each level narrower than the one below, with arched dark doorways and small round windows set into the walls. Curved roof edges separate the tiers and carry a little grey and cream trim.
Behind it the sky is a soft pale blue streaked with white cloud strokes. A low stone wall runs along the base, so the tower sits firmly on the ground. Loose strokes show in the sky and in the clusters of leaves.
Autumn foliage takes up much of the frame. Red and orange leaves hang across the tower’s tiers and gather in a bright mass near the wall, while green trees stand behind and keep the warm colours from running together.
The result is a clear contrast: warm terracotta and orange against blue sky and green leaves. Nothing is dark or heavy, and the mood is bright and calm.
The upright format and the terracotta brown tower suit a tall wall in a living room, especially one painted warm white or soft cream, where the pale sky blue stays clear and the orange and red leaves read as accents.
A pale grey wall would also work in a study, cooling the browns and letting the green trees come forward.
Yes. Dark arched openings and small round windows are set into the terracotta walls on several levels. They are painted as simple dark shapes, so they give the tower depth without fussy detail.
Both. Red and orange leaves hang across parts of the tiers, and green trees sit behind. The tower is never fully hidden, and its tiered outline stays readable.
The pale blue sky carries white cloud strokes in loose, visible brushwork, so it has soft movement rather than a flat, smooth fill.
No figures are visible. The scene is the tower, the trees and the low stone wall, which keeps it quiet.
