The archival canvas print shows the same image, printed rather than painted, so its surface is flat. Both versions come rolled, on a wooden stretcher, or framed.

Slender stems carry lotus buds, each tipped in soft pink and shaded with sage green at the base. Dragonflies with fine, clear wings hover close to one bud, and their slim dark bodies are the sharpest marks in the scene.
Below, a flat lily pad floats on the pond, and pale reflections drift across the water in loose, visible brushstrokes.
The palette stays light: sage green in the stems and water, cream across the upper background, and a cool pale blue near the pond. The pink of the buds is the one warm note, and it stays gentle rather than strong.
Light seems to come from a milky, even sky, so there are no hard shadows around the lotus buds or the lily pad, only soft shifts between the colours.
Its pale sage green and cream suit white, warm neutral or light green walls, where the pink buds can stand out quietly. A bedroom or a reading corner is a natural home for something this calm.
The tall, upright format follows the long stems of the lotus, so it fits a narrow stretch of wall or a spot beside a window.
The dragonflies are the most finely drawn part, with thin wings and slim dark bodies. The pond and the background are loose and hazy, so the insects read clearly against them.
It is a gentle, dusty pink, shaded with sage green near the base of each bud. Next to the cream and pale blue around it, the pink is the warmest note but never loud.
Only a few plants: the lotus buds on their stems and a flat lily pad. The rest of the pond is soft water and reflections, which leaves plenty of open, quiet space around them.
