Warm walls that suit a sofa wall

Gold and mustard dominate, and each painting gives a yellow wall its own scene. Hanoi iron, Saigon green

Hanoi brings rust. In one painting, rust-orange girders tower over a street of stalls, bicycles and blue crates under a pale grey sky. In another, railway tracks run toward a rust-orange steel bridge. A close view shows a rust-brown bridge with broad banana leaves in front, and a further painting has pink, magenta and white flowers filling the ground, with the bridge running across the distance. In the Old Quarter, red flags with yellow stars cross a faded yellow facade, and elsewhere a peeling mustard wall and green stools line a Hanoi pavement. Water, dusk and flowers for evening light

River scenes bring blue and teal into a warm room. Paper lanterns glow orange on dark blue water at Hoi An, a covered bridge sits beyond a boat of figures in white, and a dusk promenade runs under a pink sky beside the Thu Bon. For a quieter wall, a painting of dragonflies over pink lotus buds in sage green, cream and pale blue joins the flower pieces.
